About Us
Moving Boundaries, inc. was created in early 1996. The two principals of the firm, Elizabeth Kirkhart, PhD and Larry Kirkhart, PhD bring many years of domestic and international management experience to the executive leadership team of the Moving Boundaries organization. Elizabeth Kirkhart, PhD is a practicing psychologist in Oregon and the Vice-President of Moving Boundaries. Larry Kirkhart, PhD is President of Moving Boundaries.
Goals
Moving Boundaries, inc. was created to provide stewardship for the Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory (SL-TDI). The goals of the organization are:
- Making the Singer-Loomis available to professionally qualified therapists, pastoral counselors, trainers and educators
- Insuring the Singer-Loomis performs at appropriate psychometric levels
- Making available Singer-Loomis Reports and applications foruse by Singer-Loomis Providers with their clients
- Providing Singer-Loomis Qualification Training for professionals
- Creating and maintaining a talented and dedicated staff committed to exceptional service to our clients

Work Biography of Moving Boundaries Officers:
Elizabeth Kirkhart, PhD. Vice-President of Moving Boundaries, inc. 1996-Present. Dr. Kirkhart has been a practicing psychologist in Oregon since 1993. Prior to that she lived in Islamabad, Pakistan for nearly three years where she had a clinical practice and provided training and organization development services to agencies of the Government of Pakistan. She has served on the faculty of the Intercultural Institute’s Masters in Intercultural Communication since 2002. Earlier in her career, she was Director of Human Relations for the Western Pacific Region of the Federal Aviation Administration where she created and managed an organizational development program. She was Director of Management Training for Legal Services and developed and managed a continuing management education program for Georgetown University. In addition to serving as a trainer and organizational consultant to domestic organizations, she has provided training in Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Sudan and Mexico. Larry Kirkhart, PhD. President of Moving Boundaries, inc. 1996-Present. He has served on the faculty of the Intercultural Institute’s Masters in Intercultural Communication 2003-Present. Director of Training and Organization Development and subsequently Chief-of-Party for the Pakistan based Development Support Training Project, sponsored by the Agency for International Development through the Academy for Educational Development. For nearly 20 years, a tenured faculty member, School of Public Administration, University of Southern California (USC) teaching graduate classes applied behavioral science and action research. Director of the Doctoral Program in Public Administration on USC’s Washington, D.C. campus for three years. Chaired the Applied Behavioral Sciences Program in Los Angeles several times. Earlier, on the faculty of the Political Science Department, University of New Orleans ; the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and an American Society for Public Administration Post-Doctoral Fellow, Federal Executive Institute, Charlottesville, Virginia. He has been an organizational consultant and management trainer for private organizations, US government organizations at the Federal, State and Local levels and government organizations in Indonesia, Malaysia, Sudan and Pakistan.
